Finally got round to changing my parkers... Only to have the left one go out after about 3 seconds and now it won't work!
Put the standard Ine back in and still nothing. Anyone know what I could have done? I thought fuse but all other lights work and I can't think that this lil light would have it's own one
Your exhaust might be moving to hit the plastic, but if your exhaust tops are red hot too, I'd be a little concerned about you exhaust temps. That shouldn't be happening (though I don't know you mods). My tips have changed colour, more a brass colour than chrome and I haven't cooked my rear bar.
I think it's just a case of the exhaust moving under load and rubbing on the plastic - there wasn't much room there to begin with as the Milltek tips are a lot larger. I've never had a problem with this on the street - I'm just putting it down to the high temps/load from being on the track.
Yeah I was pushing pretty hard but I reckon there was still another half a second or maybe more to be had...I was on a flyer until my cooler hose blew off :(
the stock brakes actually did quite well, pedal was getting a bit soft but nothing major...the brakes seemed fine today driving to work too!
I had the same problem...
I think I will do a side exhaust.
