Had some one on one bonding time with the Polo ... and detailed her from top to bottom. Previous owner must have driven a *lot* of dusty roads, because it was caked in all of the exterior seals.
I think my OCD took over, cause I took the wheels off and scrubbed the wheel arches, and also cleaned inside the tail lights. :biggrin:
She's looking all shiny and loved now. :)

I got mad at my polo for making the same Steering noises that was "fixed" last tuesday...
Then left it on the side of the road and drove the Mitsi magna :(.
I like the car. Just hate that its smashed up and breaking down 8 months after ive bought it... and i hardly thrash or use it.... its not a lemon, just a few problems and problem hit and run drivers :(
What steering noise are you getting? Is it like a dull clicking noise when you turn the wheel? I get this intermittently but no-one else on the board seems to.Quote:

Booked mine in for a warranty repair to fix up all of the little things the previous owner ignored:
* Rattle in rear right hand side (suspension?)
* Drivers seat belt height adjuster jammed
* Steering column adjuster jammed
* Rear fog light not working
* Hatch keylock not working
* Cruise control lamp not working
* Cup holder spring broken
I'm glad I bought it still under warranty! :eek:
