Wow what mods have you done to your car, if it is nearly as fast as a F360 down the straight, you must have a huge turbo

lol, that's not what he wrote about the f360. it took the F360 9 laps to over take. Very respectable to be within 10secs a lap of such a focused (and expensive) car. I did QR on the weekend and was dusting clubsport R8's and Audi S3's by at least 5secs a lap, was around 3secs a lap slower than an R32 GTR skyline, but in saying that, the audi and holden drivers were far from confident so can't really claim much. As long as everyone comes of the track with a smile and little less tread on the tyres, that's what its all about.
Don't get too carried away here boys and girls... i can get a 1:37 out of a 1300cc mini in the wet.
The new motor has done a 1:28 in the dry.
I'm hoping for a mid-to-low 1:24 in my pog.
Still, full points for getting out there and into it, instead of Belair Road!
hit a piece of chep pallet board on the F3 (near the mooney mooney exit) northbound at 5:30am today... took a chunk out of the inside RHF rim, annihilated the tyre, and snapped the RHR rim in two, also annihilating the tyre
NRMA wouldnt cover it as a breakdown (tow was $140), and to make it worse, the media was saying on the traffic reports that i put it into a wall :( not what happened !!
not good when ive had my pog for a week driving from melb to brisbane :(
Doh
Not good, sorry to hear that, but welcome to a new polo member
Hopefully it gets sorted out
That sucks! Not sure if you can claim any of the costs from the RTA given it was due to debris...
Not a great way to start, but a good reason to get cool wheels / tyres...
You can claim against the RTA or councils if there is something wrong with the road (pot holes, road work where they've left gravel all over the place etc), but I'm not sure you could claim against them when someone has lost part of their load and you've run into it. It does suck though, sorry to hear you had these troubles.
damn, man. that's bad to hear.
i hate the number if pricks out there who cant seem to secure their loads. and who pays for it? the person who their crap flies into.
To me its the same thing as an person falling on a sidewalk due to a stuffed paver or fallen tree branch - the council is liable?
talk to a expert traffic lawyer in your area.
