on the topic of wheel alignments these arent covered by dealers are they?
ive had my car for around one month now and its veering to the left, i can see the rear left wheel at the wrong angle
should i bring it back to the dealer or just get anyone to do it? (im in sydney) any thoughts appreciated!
If you can see your rear wheel at the wrong angle, I really wouldn't be driving on it. How dose it look at the wrong angle? Dose it toe in or toe out? If you are that concerned about it, take it back to the dealer, and remember, you cant do a wheel alignment on the rear wheels of most cars.Quote:

i dont think you can do the wheel allignment on the rear of the Polo's so there is something else going on there, get it fixed ASAP!
Yeah. Torsion Beam/Trailing Arm rear suspension has no way of being aligned. I wouldn't be worried about the dealer having your car for a day, I'd be more worried about the whole assembly comming off and you plowing into a bus full of nun's. :duh:Quote:

thanks guys il call the dealer tomorrow to get it checked out
maybe im imagining things with the rear left because if it toes in its hardly noticeable but no risks il give the dealer a call tomorrow! it definately veers left hmm!

And i didnt actually drill the living $%$^ out of my airbox. I was being sarcastic. I did have every intention to do so, but then i remembered that the strut brace doesnt allow you to remove the airbox lid. COULD NOT BE BOTHERED !
I did an oil change.
Old Oil = Mobil1 0-40
New Oil = Castrol Edge 0-40
Thought id change to see if there was anything different. Ive always used mobil1.
