Something like this looks good, that price includes intercooler
Kinetic Motorsport: KINETIC MOTORSPORT MKIV 1.8T STG2 TURBO KIT
They also have RP turbo GT28's
Kinetic Motorsport: RP TURBO GT2860RS
If I had the $$ I would do it
VW do replacement wipers that slide into the existing holders. They come with blades, and end caps, and cost $24 for the front pair when I got them.

I see courtney is doing a group buy on RP turbo's and might include the GT28
The Forge FMIC does chew up a few PSI. On the upside, although you are showing less PSI, that air is likely much cooler most of the time.
I was rough-quoted about 7k to get the GT28 on with all the required bits. No doubt sourcing all the gear yourself could prove to be much cheaper.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with a bog turbo. Its not the car for it.
One thing I've been thinking of is if we get a Forge core and give it to a company like PWR, they should be able to make up another cooler to bolt onto the other Forge piping. If we had a donor and enough interested people, it could work out to be relatively cheap.

In relation to a MBC, depending on how you do it, you can end up with poor partial throttle boost. I think this would add only a little boost and make the car harder to drive in slow traffic. The dual stage design looks the best option. Personally I think the K03s is making all the boost it should, you're not really going to be able to get much more from it.
I always laugh when you lot talk about turbo upgrades. That's thousands I'd much rather put aside to buy something properly fast, rather than a 'hot hatch' with some BIG limitations (no LSD standard, very nose heavy, tiny turbo etc.) requiring big cash to swap out.
Horses for courses... but still... you guys make me lol
