What did you do to your Polo today?

Had my 60k service done, with new front pads and rotors.. driving noticeably better :driver:
just a little broke now :P

Did you have this done at a dealer? What was the cost as I've got this coming up in 2,000km

I've just had my 60km done (thanks Jimmy!) and I also need rotors & pads & bushes (still to be done). Totals going to be just over a grand (!!!!) but I had a couple of other things done as well.

God knows what a dealer would charge - good luck!

Yeah it was done by the dealer, paid just under 700 for the service with dealer discount card.

After all the chat went ahead and got a dub addiction antenna... arrived this morning, wow that is small! have to fit when I get home.

After a wonderful weekend watching Sydney FC win the A-league grand final I return to Sydney to find that my Mrs has run my front left wheel along the gutter "just a little scratch" I am told - no, it is big scratches half way up two spokes !! **** !!

So this morning I dropped the wheel off at Magman at Punchbowl to get it fixed ... 2 wheels she has done this to now :(

Anyways, for any Melbourne Victory fans on here - FTT !

Drove the last two tanks with my instant fuel up on the MFD for a change. Still driving white knuckle when I want to, I managed to drop my fuel consumption from my average of 8.69L/100km over the last 15,000km to 7.7L/100km and 7.52L/100km over the last two tanks. Pretty big drop in consumption by being just a little more conscious of throttle position/gear.

Hey mate, out of interest, are these the standard Polo GTI wheels, and if so, how much do they charge for this? I've also got a wheel with some gutter rash. Only on the very edge of the wheel though - not up the spokes!

$100 and I get it back on Wednesday afternoon. Not bad considering the way it was scraped. Had a mate go there with just the edge scrape and it was $70 or so.
