black is the best - and not just cause i have 1

actually black is best when clean - in other owrds the day you clean it. silver is next best, and the colour i wish i had now

the white ones look good with the black'd our bonnet. i think i saw on mr Google images a white gti with a matt black bonnet. looked fan-bloody-tastic

I got the Mk6 GTI in white and i reckon it looks amazing.
The silver is BEAUTIFUL as well and i was tossing up between the two. I ended up going white because it was quicker on delivery. LOL
But i wash my car very often...i cnt stand to see it dirty..so it always looks good.
Black rims with a rim outer lining are on the way and i'm planning to chip it soon aswell.

White is great to own - easily fixed, easy to keep clean.

Silver looks great - but difficult to fix if you bend it.

Red - well thats just gonna fade to pink.

Black - Looks great when clean, but too hard to keep clean.

Blue - Just as hard to keep clean, but doesn't look as 'stunning' as black.

    White or silver
    Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.

a color like red used to change in color due to weather etc.
but those days are long gone, the paint they use on the nowadays cars are far more better then paint from about 10 - 15 years ago.
so the red is supposed to stay red.
and red is also hard to respray without color difference.
as for the rest, 100% correct about what you say about the colors.

mine is white, still love that color best.
but i must say, black on black rims is also pretty damn beautifull!
i also like blue because it's a color you don't see to often on a GTI.
color is personal, you best chose the color what you think suits you best.

How old are you man, like 60?!?!

Let me guess you bought a red Alfa GTV in the early 70's, and to your dicused when you rocked up to work for the first time in it, your colleagues started taking bets as to whether or not it would fade to a reddish shade of invisible first or one sad night just turn into an recocnisable pile or rust in your garage.

I get it once bitten twice shy and all that

Well thankfully it's a brave new world...................

P.S. can you guess what colour Polo I have lol
