    What is this?

    Found this in the boot. Anyone knwo where this fell out from?

    The writing on it are:
    ES
    6Q3.858.883
    >PP/EPDM-T15<
    BT8

    looks like it may be off the rear off the backseats mine has two on each side.

    It looks like the part of the clip that holds the section inside the spare wheel.
    It holds the strap that holds the tool section in.

    Looks like the insert that would cover the loacation and/or the entry for the child safety seat anchor point...

    I know exactly where it came from.

    But no idea how to explain.

    If you are sitting in the back seat and looking towards the front. Look directly to your right. There will be a little rectangle cut in the side plastic which is where it pops into.

    Yeah it looks like the clip that keeps the seatbelt out of the way when folding the seats down. Also handy when you take the entire rear seats out for track days

    I would have said the rear engine mount but meh

    Okay, so I got up this morning, and had a look around in the car. Turns out it is the clip that holds the left rear seat belt in place when it's not in use. So I push it back in. Still no idea how it fell out though.

    Like Pedro said it was the flux capacitor or the awesomeness power that the Polo holds, its really overwhelming!
    I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
