Water in headlight - bring on the fogging!

    Hey all,

i took my Polo in to have a bath this afternoon only to find out at the end of the wash the right headlight had completely fogged up from the inside with small water drops on the inside surface of the glass......VERY P*SSED OFF!
just left the headlights on for a few mins until the fog cleared but we are in for a few days of rain so i'm a little worried.

when i stood in front of the car it looked as though the bung headlight was sitting out further than the other.....maybe come away from its mount (didn't get time to look)??

lucky i have a service on fri morning, my mechanic said he will have a look at it and if its anything serious i can head into VW and let them sort it out under warranty.

    anyone else had this happen??

Yup, this happened to me as well...
It rained heavily here a week after I took delivery of my GTI, and my driverside headlight fogged up pretty badly...

I just booked it in to the service centre as well and they replaced the whole unit.
