    Same thing with my polo... Just put everything back to standard n go for warranty claim, shouldn't be a prob. Got its done in one day, they have a rad in stock, how coincident.

    They will not cover a rock through the coil... they will cover the welds splitting between the core and the end tanks....

    And it's an engine temperature gauge

    i def cant c it being a rock since i have a front mount sitting in front of it. im just wondering if i should get my mechanic to have a look first cause i dont trust the dealer and i def dont trust their mechanics with my front mount and putting it back on.

    thanks flaps think i will just send it to the dealer any probs point them in that directioin lol i thought it was only newbies who didnt use the search button not me oops

    Yeah this isn't as common as the gearbox but still a high number of replacements. I would say you'll be fine, they must surely know if it's a known problem.

    They probably do know about it but if the car has been modified in anyway they'll do their best to turn you down on a warranty claim.

    Mmmm....., how quick can you swap all that stuff you've got fitted out for stock is actually the question you need to be asking .....

    I reckon I can have all back to stock excluding the chip and engine mount within 3 hours ....... only problem will be the mounts for the FMIC which will confuse them a bit .... (and you can set the chip back to std anyway)

    Brakes and exhaust should not be a problem for a warranty claim anyway.
