    Warranty

I've had rattles and creaks coming from the rear of the car since it had about 5000km on the clock. I've had both my shock mounts replaced under warranty about 15,000km ago. The car has now done 30,000km. I installed rear sway bar about 12,000km ago. Now the creaks have come back. Is it worth while taking the RSB off before taking it back to the dealers? Is it likely to void the warranty?
    Thanks

Well, since no one knew the answer, or people didn't bother to reply, I took the car in, having half-disassembled the sway bar. (left the 8 figure links on, but took the bar off).

Anyways, the dealer said they will not fix it unless I take the links off, so bring it back when I have taken them off. Oh well. Worth a try I s'pose.

didnt see your post earlier sorry...
but usually swaybar shouldnt cause any problems. but if they tell u to take it off, well take it off..

I have the same issue, but coming from the dash. First time, the guy said he took the car for a drive and was satisfied with the result! I told him and he took it for a drive and yeah there was a noticeable sound from the left n right of the dash. So gonna leave the car back to the dealer and not going to pick it up unless they've fixed the problem and my car has only done 3,000km

IMHO I didn't realise how "average" the stock suspension was until I got it swapped with Bilstien shox and H&R springs...now the only "clunk" I get is due to my low profile tyres ie; less air to ride on.

My dilema with my 30,000km service with the dealer is K&N Filter, SEAT Air intake, Front Strut Brace, Rear Sway bar, APR V2 (can be hidden), Engine mount etc......I'm thinking of now just servicing at the the APR guys here in Perth Quattro Motors and only go back to the dealer if the is a warranty issue....then I'd have to pull everything out first....ekkk.

I wouldn't be too worried about pulling the stuff off there for service at a dealer...The K&N and SEAT intake I wouldn't worry about, as it is only the filter and the intake trunk looks stock anyway, the APR mount cant be seen, and the sway bar and strut brace you can leave or take off, but it is all up to you.

sounded like (one of the clippings for the dash) plastic, being pushed up/down/side to side. It wasn't doing this when I got the car, but then after 2.5months.

Same noise... clunking on left front, suspected sway bar links. Just came back from warranty for radiator. What a lemon

I've got a left front noise too, but it's more of a squeak/creek and it only happens when I accelerate. The best way I can describe it would be the body/door flexing when accelerating. I don't know...

Just like leasaunce, mine started happening around the 2 month mark also.
