    End result

Im still not happy about the pins it locks into. Has to be lined up to the mm or it wont close. The front plastic part above the grill that you mount the pins into in on a angle, the pins need to be perfectly straight

Will try to get some pics soon

How come you didn't go with the lockable ones? Looks good though!

Its hard to get the backing plate in between the 2 bonnet skins and get it all done up. I also dont have the posts in yet as i cant seem to get them at the correct angle, going to have to get some metal rod and make a angled cut, hard to explain without pics

Hate to think how much a panel beater would charge as it is a lot of stuffing around

Ok, I have not updated for a while so here we go.

Did a track day at Winton on the Queens Birthday weekend.

I didn't beat my best time, guess i could have pushed harder but im a bit soft lol, put so much work in the car i dont want to damage it or have a accident.
I woke up the next morning thinking what if, should have, could have gone faster in that corner, been more agressive etc.
In saying that my fastest lap was my last lap of the day, so i was getting quicker !!

There was a moment in the afternoon that was just magical, car felt great, there was a R32 GTR behind me, following me for the last few laps. I let him pass and chased him for about 3 laps, i would catch him on the corners and under braking and he would take off on the straight parts. The sun was out, it felt like it was just us two on the track, through the corners, left, right, brake, power out of the corner, brake, it was like i was in a video game but it was real !!!

Thanks to Paul for the Pics, check out his blog

    Nice shots!

Its a learning game mate, if you got a good feel for your car, that is more valuable than a 1/10th off. Different lines, different tyre pressures, different spots you hit the gas, they all add up.

What are you rolling on now?

Running these as a daily for a while, hopefully they will be on soon !!!

    .

Wanted Porsche wheels for a while, have had adapters sitting here for close to 1 year
I dont like the normal twists, they dont look agressive enough. These are Boxster S wheels 17X7 and 17X8.5
