Got my Kmac, camber/caster strut tops a few weeks ago, but didnt have time to put them in untill the other day.

Anthony was the guinea pig I guess as he was the first to work out that there were problems with them. They went back and forth to Kmac for a few weeks till they were finally right

Cant even get a allen key in to adjust the shocks, they are over so far. Thinking about cutting the tops off

    Got Camber !!!

Dont know if you can tell from this pic

First impressions, wow and wow, its not even alligned yet and it feels like a totally different car, feels like a proper car now, it was missing something. It now feels like it is on rails. All of the clunking and banging is gone, guessing the standard ones were shagged but suprised they sent so much vibration through the car, so the car is actually a lot smoother with the soild mounts in.

I will try to get is booked into pedders this week sometime, the one near me do some awesome work, the guy who work there drive 180sx's GTR's etc

So the knocking noise my wife can hear on the front left forward of the dash, could be the strut top bearing bush?

I know I can hear them clunk over my driveway crossover. Query re hats.. are they dome shaped to strenghten that section? Cuttiing them off might not be a good idea? Cheers Al

PS anyone got a good pair of Strut tops they do not need any longer? Maybe someone has the complete GTi suspension struts tops and rears as well wanting a home?

    Pm me please.

Had her in a Pedders for a allignment, they said it was quite time consuming as you have to set it, check it and do the process over and over

    Hoyhoy.

Troy when going for heaps of negative camber for street use , ya might find the steering different, usually for the worst.

Google = scrub radius, for some reasons.

I'll be interested to hear how you go getting the power down coming out of a corner. I'm assuming as there is less contact from the inner tyre that its easier to have the inside wheel slip.

Keen to hear your feedback in general when its all sorted.

That's an awful lot of camber for the street
