    Yeah me too, makes the polished parts stand out much more

    My new theme is black polished and red, going to get the IE billet fuel and regulator in red as well. Thinking about getting the engine mounts, alternator and catch can in satin black, less work to maintain than polished parts

    The samco ones, i never bought any, plan on deleting the big coolant ball anyway

    the black hoses look great. especially as its a black car. nice touch
    2016 MY17 Polo GTI with DA package. TMD fitted + Weather strip and Snow Screen removed otherwise dead standard.

    Troy, bonnet linning all gone, is that old or new, me thinking of doing the same but for a different purpose.

    Never thought of pulling the lining off, everyone kept asking what it was still doing there. Looks cleaner with it off, my mate keeps carrying on about what happens if there is a fire or something now lol

    Hoyhoy.

    I think you'll find that the linning is mainly for paint protection of the bonnet.
    There are times (hard tracking) when the heat gets excessive under there.
