Get straight onto VW Australia about that. I waited 9 months for them to start the process that enables me to get my Welcome Pack. Hopefully I should have it soon.
If you didn't get your Welcome Pack, it means your dealer didn't forward on your purchase information to VWA, and that your vehicle isn't covered by the roadside assist. This information was passed onto me by VW Raodside Assist when I called them about the welcome pack. Thank Christ I didn't have an issue with my car that would have left me stranded.

HAHAHAHA...There may be more than one VW dealer in Penrith, I'm really not sure...

I got a quote from them way back Jan 06, they were still at the old place on the Great Western.
Lol I remember saying how I was thinking about buying from Parra, cause their servicing was round the corner from work. He said he offers to pick up customers cars from their homes from all over Sydney to get them serviced in Penrith

Hahaha, good to hear. I am still trying to deal with their crap(non returned calls, 2.5 months to get money off them that they owed me for options not delivered on the car, and now the whole debacle about not being covered for 9 months cos some bogan in a suit can't do his job correctly) , and I wouldn't wish them on anyone on here.
P.S: I'm from Emu Plains originally, so technically speaking, cos I am from the other side of the Nepean River, I am not a bogan...

I think VW or its dealers is screwing up here, big time.
For the Polo, I received the RoadAssist card at delivery -- nothing else since, although I did get a few issues of the VW magazine. When the car is serviced by the dealer, someone rings me up. As the dealer has inevitably never done anythin about what I've asked them to do, I give poor marks. The 'survey girl' always says she'll draw this to the attention of the service department, who'll contact me. They never do!
For the Golf, we received a phone call from VW almost 2 months after taking delivery saying the Welcome Pack was 'in the mail'. Nothing has been received, and this would be a good month ago.
Here's the really odd part: we owned a Mazda and a Honda previously. Both send us their magazines and material about new models. While many may treat it as junk, it's at least keeping me informed. I prefer this experience and I'll remember it.
