    Thanks Rosonic. Don't know what I am looking at with some of that data.

    The airmas looks about right, I hit about 165 or something at peak.

    I'm looking at Logging block 120 now. This gives estimated Torque, but I don't know if this will alter from tune to tune...

    From this you are apparently supposed to be able to work out the HP as well, but like a dyno, I think you should use it for a reference rather than bible.

    Measurements would correlate to flywheel numbers.

    Lots of runs in various gears overlayed. Although the data is messy, if I can get some feedback as to the accuracy (+/- 20%) then this is quote a helpful tool if we can get a few people posting results.

    The yellow line is injection time - in mili seconds (right y-axis), brown line is engine load - in % (left y-axis).

    The airmas looks about right, I hit about 165 or something at peak.
    So if this statement is correct:
    Group 002 usually shows air mass in g/s. Your peak airflow should be roughly 0.80 times your horsepower. So, if you have a stock 150 hp 1.8T, expect around 120 g/s
    you should have about 206.5hp at 165g/s

    Tried to mark the boost vs air flow - on the compressor efficiency map:



    I've put dots for 2600,3000,3500,4000,4500,5000,5500,6000 rpm on the chart taken from BorgWarner.

    don't shoot me if I did it wrong - - I'm new at this.

    Woah, if that is correct, hats off to you for producing some real world data that can really be understood as to the efficiency of the turbo relative to your / our car.

    Very cool.

    As for the air flow, these guides are just guides, I would think they would be roughly + / - 20% of actual values as the power can be gained in other ways, but it does indicate that the car / tune is doing what it should.

    Here's my logging of block 120:



    Don't know how precise this is, but on the stock car it gave almost the same results like on the dyno.

    Here's a EGT graph - from block 034 (cat temperature)
    it's a run in 4th gear then shifted to 5th and accelerated until 6000rpm.



    Any opinions on this ? Is the temperature too high ?

    Sorry mate, could not say.

    From what I've read, 850 is the upper limit for the Cat efficiency temp range. My understanding is if you go higher, you'll throw a code.
    I think if you were looking to cook something, the ECU would try to compensate for it by pulling timing, changing AFR's or adjusting boost, etc.

    Something like that. There are different ways to get power and advancing timing can add power without changing the airflow.
    Its just a guide that the car is operating as expected, more of a guide than a definative answer.

    REVO Stage 2 - data logging is done, but is it not possible attach any files here?
    I have a 110k excel file.
    06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
    06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.
