    Have you tried resetting the TPMS ? The method is described in the owner's manual (and in some of the earlier posts in this thread).

    greg, he is from the USA if his location is correct so i dont know how he has a Polo.

    Hey Shane, long time no here

    I'm not sure how accurate the TPMS is, but I've had it work very well in the past, including once at Eastern Creek. Take the car to a tyre place and get them to submerge each tyre, see if you get any bubbles. If you don't then start looking at sensor problems.

    well i took her to bob janes and they found no leak or vavle problems. i disconnected the battery for 15mins. reconected it and the light still comes on. looks like its a trip to vw for me.

    I'd be interested to hear if a faulty TPMS sensor will throw a code Mike is you GTI still under warranty? I wander if they will replace all 4 sensors.

    mine came on tonight for the first time so i filled up all tyres to 35psi then as I was driving held the button down and it went away ?

    It can take a couple of days and it depends on how big or small the leak is.

    Not making sense really as the tyre pressure is monitored via the abs sensors. In this case if any of these are in fact faulty it would be throwing an abs light on too, im thinking a faulty TPS switch on the dash perhaps.
