I don't think it will run in win7 as a stand alone, however if you've only got win7 you should be able to install it in Windows XP mode (virtual pc). I've done the same thing on vmware. Pretty simple.

Can anyone give me a tip on how I can fix this problem?

It starts in German but once you log in it'll change to english (if you installed english). Make sure that you click OK when the warning message pops up or it won't load properly and all you get is a gray background.
