i don't question a momment about the time that Kai set with his polo.
specially when he was driving semi slicks!
i do think it's possible with road tires also but that would be much more difficult i guess.
so there is nobody else that made it under de 14 sec??? :-s

****s me when people say its just "so easy"

Go run consistent 8 second passes. Getting the car off the line with minimal wheelspin but on boost is all driver skill. Also gear changing. If you know how to do it your car will be much faster.

You'll go buy a heap of bolt on stuff and go race around a track and call yourself good. One person i have alot of respect for is eddy. Its very custom. He spends alot of time working on stuff to get it right. He isnt what id call a "bolt on racer"

    pretty good!
still i think it's possible to get it under 14sec with street tires, but it will be a one time lucky shot i guess:-p

what have you done on youre polo? just remap...?

Best we ever ran with ours was a 14.0 on R compound tyres. Mind you, as a drag racer, I really suck. Something about my 60 foot times being close to 3 seconds they tell me

i know that apr polo, followed it's topic a long time, wandered why you stopt updating the topic, diddn't know it was gone.
as i see yoyre updates on the polo, it should be alot faster than 14sec...
but as you say, driver does alot in a dragrace

If we could have made it a widebody and managed to get 235 or 245 tyres on the front, I'm sure we could have run way better times. It would spin the front wheels in the first 3 gears. Mind you, It was set up for the track so running lots of negative camber & stiffer rear suspension.

Quite the opposite to what you would like a drag car to be so I'm told
