    Time Slips.

I went to willowbank last night.

    Did some runs.

    Came out with

    14.588 @ 96.09mph (2.3 60ft)
    14.524 @ 96.01mph (2.2 60ft)

Thats a completely stock polo gti with apr tune. Even had the stock tyres. (yes i normally run a pod. But didnt use it as sitting in line waiting is **** for heat.

I only did 3 runs and my other one was like a 21 second pass. lol. I spun first second and than it wouldnt go into third. So i slowed until it did.

mmmmm interesting, that means there is definately more in it ..
Too bad they are not RWD,then you could just change the diff ratio for a shorter one,and cross that line at 6500 ...

    Well done anyway...

I was changing at 5500rpm aswell. I changed at the end of the torque curve. Like you should...

    That's a good result, Kai

The fastest time I have seen was MACCAA's 14.4 at Eastern Creek on 19 May... results ...with Oettinger tune and exhaust, although "I've heard" Guy has finally nailed launches on his KO4'd/LSD'd Pog...and produced some really decent numbers ...post those slips, Guy

Guy has nailed launches? lol ..he only starts to get traction in 3rd gear! way too much power to get any real indication.

it seems that flashed polos are getting 14s with a lot of spin (kai stock intake with 22 degrees outside temp). it's obvious that when they hook up well, they are 13 sec cars.

aahhh LSD? no thx Timbo. the power has to get released somewhere and I'd prefer the tyres copped it rather than the clutch
