Hmm this may be a silly question, but are the rear adjustment perches supposed to be on the top or bottom of the rear spring?

I've always seen coilovers with them installed on the bottom. I did a quick google search and saw some people mention they are meant to be on the top, with the OEM rubber base removed? Perhaps this is why the perch didnt fit snugly on the base?

I hope i didnt have them installed upside down!

the spring supposed to be installed above the adjustemt hight/lowering ring. (ring at bottom)
so that the spring rests on the adjustment ring.
if you turn the ring to the lowest setting, turned all the way down, the car will be getting lower.

    is this what you mean??

Yes that is how i have it installed, wound all the way down but it is still too high for my liking so i want to remove the adjustment perch altogether. But i have seen pics where the purple adjustment perch is at the top of the spring?
