You won't get offered anywhere near $18500 if you trade so at the end of the day it depends how much you want for it.
    Cheers,

If you rush, you could loose a few thousand. up to you, but the market can change quite a bit over a few weeks.

I'm sorry I have to be the spoiler here. Do yourself a favour and don't buy a mk6 gti, you'll just keep it in the garage for years like your poor Polo. Buy something classic that you can justify it being 'locked away' for long periods, not something that wants to truly enjoy the open roads and mountain twisties.

You bought your Polo brand new and openly knocked everyone for modding theirs and driving them everywhere, claiming a resultant poor resale. You, meanwhile, have kept yours completely stocko and locked away from the road to save km's hoping for a good resale value, we told you back then then were dreaming. I really hope you learn a good lesson from this.

Best of luck with the sale mate, I really do hope you get more that 18,500 for it.

    p.s. I got offered $20k for mine last week, '06, modded, 50,000 km's.

    Got an offer for 18490

Got an offer for 18490 was happy with it but due to other money issues at this time i cant justify selling so i pulled my add and will be keeping my polo for sometime yet.Its got a few dash rattle noises and after todays drive has road tar, insect gunk and dust all over it .Now i have some thing to do on my day off give my polo a wash. This maybe my 1st and last vw i own its the 1st car i have kept for over 3 years.

I do drive it and enjoy it when i do .One reason is i drive a yaris company car during the week .I don t have this if i am on holiday or a night after hours so i use the polo as a weekend or back up car i went down the south coast on tue did over 400 km in one day visiting my uncle the polo performed great on the open road 100km/h up any hill this is why i got this turbo car it was what i was looking for at the time ie small powerfull fuel efficient good handling and a little bit different .To my work car.I am keeping it for at least another year now.
