And why are you buying a Polo GTI over a solid 24K gold Lambo?

Isn't every single living soul in W.A a multi-trillionaire with at least one mine in their back yard?

black has the classy look. white looks JDM-ish

Both looks nice, i am sure you'll love either car....

Although having a black(now dented for abit) GTI... it's a biatch to keep it clean.....

After owning a white one for more than a year, i feel like a change so i say go black! i saw one the other day and was commenting how nice it looks on the polo, highlights the stock wheels nicely.

Howver, if i had to do it over again, i want blue.

you must be thinking of all the cashed-up rednecks who work in the mines up north. everyone else has to settle for the GTI.

    resale value

Apparently for resale values you should go black or silver....but then again you are the one who is driving it. Get what you prefer and wait if you have to.

Given the number of white GTI's out there now (and for the record one of my favourite colours), I'd go for the black. There are very few of them out there and black is always good for re-sale value.

    edit: there aren't enough white Mk4 GTI's - Snowy's the man!

Due to the fact I'm in QLD and you can hardly wash cars, i'd vote white (well red if on list)

If you go black you have to love to wash your car. When you polish it every single swirl will show. After having a black golf the white is heaps easyer to keep looking tidy and clean.

If you use microfibre pads you won't get swirl marks.
