Synchro 1st -> 2nd

clutch in and change up....pretty hard to stuff that up!

The line you push the stick towards 3rd may have something to do with it.

H pattern is different to |/|

When changing quickly you follow the shortest path... crunch.

Try and bed them in fellas dont be scared!!!! It works , some are a bit notchy , get the edges off the baulk rings.

Mine crunched from 1st to 2nd they pulled the box out and changed the syncros..
mu car was 8months old.

they said they couldn't find anything wrong and changed the oil. so far so good.

Like i keep saying bed the baulk rings in!! 20 second fix and oil is a good thing too as well as preferably after the little bed in session.
Ive fixed dozens of new ones without oil just bed the baulk rings in especially when they are new, ive done it with Porsches too with great results. Any Brizzy guys with low ks Polos with this issue i will happily show you what i mean.
