    Studs for 5mm Spacers?

My track tyres are rubbing at full lock under load. Just picked up some 5mm spacers for a quick fix for tomorrow’s SDMA hillclimb. Will these be ok on stock studs, or do I need to get some extend ones?

bolt up the track rims with the OE studs. Turn the car on and turn the wheel full lock. reach in around the back and look to see if the threads protrude out the back of the hub by > or = 5mm. If so then 5mm spacers will still be leaving plenty of thread in the hubs. Good luck buddy. Let us know how you go.

Thanks Sam. The spacers I got were too big so will have to go 1 more meeting with it rubbing. Only happens on the right gander heading up the hill so not too bad. Shooting for a 48 Studs for 5mm Spacers?

cool. You could just take out the self taper torx screw in that area where its rubbing so that there's no risk of tearing into the tyre. Good luck. Should be chilly there in the morning!
