Is the pad only contacting half the disc?. If so, you need to replace to pads too.
Get the new pads on first, and see if it rectifies the problem, then go from there.
wacked on new discs the other day and my 97 stops better now but its only using half of the dis to stop on.... wtf is going on with that?
i need new pads, got them and they are the wrong ones so will be taking them back soon.

just give the pads a bit more time to wear to match the disk. And just be cautious and slowly the breaking will get better when they get to know eachother better (the disk and the pad)
no no no
its OLD pads on NEW discs
because the NEW pads were the wrong ones!
