    Steering wheel

I'm trying to locate some steering wheel inserts (3 & 9 o'clock position), perhaps in the brushed metal finish to match the bottom one. My current ones are looking a bit daggy. I think the last owner liked his jewellery and has taken some of the coating off.

Vaglink has them. Its under the mkv golf section. They will work on your polo 3 spoke steering.

How do you actually get these off the steering wheel?

Don't buy Golf ones, there is a slight difference and they won't fit the polo wheel.

    Its just matt black?

Why not remove, sand back to smooth and spray it a chrome so it matches the little GTI badge section at the bottom.

What slight difference is there? I fitted my original Polo ones onto my new G5 Gti steering wheel and the ones from the G5 Gti steering onto my old Polo three spoke steering.

The ones off my Polo didn't fit my MK5 Golf wheel. I can't remember which way around it is, but one wheel has two plugs and the other only has 1.

Strange... Mine were identical between steering wheels. Will take pics when i get home this evening... MIght be a case of the AUS cars having different parts compared to RSA vehicles.
