    Help!!! Passenger door wont unlock

    Hi guys.
    Ive got my first problem after 2yrs owning the polo.
    My passenger door wont unlock, any ideas. There is no sound of it even trying to unlock with the key. The inside handle will pop the lock up but wont unlock.

    Has anyone else had this problem. Any help will be muchly appreciated.

    Sounds like the latch mechanism, which is also the locking actuator, has died.

    Keep trying to lock/unlock it, and give the door a bit of a thump where the latch is.

    It may start working again.

    Almost definitely the latch mechanism or aka door lock module. I had to replace mine a couple of years ago.
