    squeeky brakes

    Hi all

I have noticed over the past few weeks my brakes have been squeeking a lot. No lights on the dash, and looking at the pads they still seem to have a lot of wear left - I am under 40,000kms.

Any suggestions on what to do to stop it?

Have you looked at the pads?
Usually its the backing material, there are a number of products available around $10 to resolve this problem. CNC, Copper based, blue gooey stuff... I have not tried the CNC, the Blue just melts away from the contact point, the copper one seems to be doing the trick for me.

being a manual and depending on how you drive, you barely use your brakes, had this issue with mine so jumped on them a couple of times, fixed it right up.
