    something along the lines of et 42 6.5jx16"

    i think... dont quote me on that but i think it's quite similar to the mk4 gti spec wheels.

    I just lowerd her 35mm so if i get 17's that means it will sit higher no?

    yes you'll sit higher unavoidable if you change up in wheel size, you can minimise it by running a smaller sidewall tyre but anything below a 40 will look stupid on only a 35mm drop.

    yep thats me, its now on Josh's old 70mm drop springs no coilovers yet, was on 35m H&Rs before that.

    So basically with35mm drop it will be back to normal height so then ide be looking at coilovers.... i can get that wheel in 16 inch but i think it would look tad silly

    won't look the same your arches will sit closer to the wheel, actually 35mm is a pretty good drop for getting a 17" rim smack bang in the the centre of the arches some spacers to get you 5-10mm of poke and you'll look sweet and ride comfortably.

    any serious drop you'll need coilovers even then only ones I've seen that go lower than 75mm are H&R ones
