Something that WRX drivers will not like :P

    Hi Guys,

Have a look at the link below. Basically a drag run 350m between me and the Ver 8 WRX STi V-limited (without using DCCD).

I beat a wrx which was "tuned" by MRT at wakefield when my pog was still stock. All i had was semis. Soon after that i went to eastern Creek raceway and beat an EVO 9.

All i can say is, its not the car its all about the driver

That makes plenty of sence. The Sti's stregth is its AWD launch. If that doesnt knock you down (the video shows it didnt) then after that, the Sti (stock) is known to have a bit of a glass jaw.

It looks like the mid range punch of the polo caused it a surprise.

I love these topics. Cause 90% of people come in here and say this stuff isnt possible. Then it turns into a ca18 debate.

i dragged a supra turbo and a BOSS falcon ute. 1st gear was a mess because all 3 of us were wheel spinning . But once we all got traction i started to pull ahead. then 3rd gear came along and the BOSS killed us both. i managed to save a bit of pride when i beat the supra turbo

Hey guys...I'l just remind you now that street racing isn't tolerated on this forum, and posts will be edited to suit. I know alot of you guys do this on the track, but I'm just giving you a heads up.

    Cheers...

I think a modded polo, even just chip only will keep most cars honest. 2nd and 3rd gear will always be very competitive. I cant see too many cars running away from us.

To convincingly beat a Polo Gti (minimum chip mods) you will need a car with crazy torque and longer gearing so it can really stretch its legs on us.. Otherwise, it might come down to the driver.
