i had an interesting stationary purchase the other day involving a gtr blue tipped pen, it wrote a lil faster then my polo pencil at the begining, and it definatly had a lot of ink mid writing. over all though i was quite proud of my pog.

Mine basically chipped and I think the Impreza had exhaust & reflash job. I honestly think if he's able to launch the car properly, things would have gone differently. DCCD would have easily settle this too. But problem with the Impreza, turbo lag (that car anyway) was the achilles heals

Hi guys. Well since I just bought an sti I can tell you that in a straight line there is not a lot of difference between the stock sti and the tuned polo. Handling and braking, they are worlds apart. It is like the old saying chalk and cheese. Both cars where built to do different things. Drag racing is not really the foray of the sti. But good to see the little pog keeping them honest.

Easy Tiger, I mean OK you have proved with evidence that the polo beat a WRX. He looks foolish for his stupid comment as it has no evidence,however you then go and ruin it by making comments about him / her.


I am not defending him or you, I just read the posts and whilst the topic is interesting, his comments and yours were not helpful to anyone.

Wow video is impressive but as some of you have mentioned, its all about the driver as well. Obviously proves you can drive mate!!!

Its not that I dont believe the TLGP (not such a good idea! ) claims of beating Falcon GT's/STI's/EVO's etc however the plain truth is they are a hell of a lot quicker cars than a Polo GTI, you guys must just be awesome drivers!

Personally I find it hard to believe that even simply a chipped polo with no other mods can beat an Evo or Stias they are 4wd cars and are able to put all their power to the ground whereas Polo's are front wheel drive that struggles to put all that power to the ground. I gone up against an EVO 9 in the past and I gotta say, even if we might catch up for a short period of time, we do eventually get blown off. However it might just be me being a crap driver though

But to those who really have somehow beat such cars then casue you must be awesome drivers.

Yep clearly world beating....can I remind you there IS A VIDEO of a Polo beating a WRX....not just heresay. There also is a video from an ex-member of a chipped Polo beating a FPV GT-P.
