    Side Light/Parking Light Removal

    Hi Guys,

First 'proper' post here, past the newbie section. Does anyone have a photo of the side light/parking light unclipped from the headlight of a 9n3? Ive pulled both driver and passenger units until my fingers are raw, with no success, and dont want to resort to pulling the wires. The section on this appears to have had the photos removed. Any info, or tips greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    T

its a twist then pull. Twist it anticlock wise and remove it from its place

    Thanks barcode.

For others its handy to know the clips are directly in front of the little flanges you can feel at the back of the holder. I found waggling up and down against these while pulling allowed it to come out.

Rotating it made sure it wasnt stuck before removal, but wasnt necessary. I also recommend doing it when the temperature is above freezing, as that helps the fingers.

Impressed I managed to get the battery side light out...that shadow puppet practice came in handy!

Whiter Philips bulbs fitted - much better.
