    Short ratio gearbox

Hi, I have a VW Polo GTI rally car, the current gear ratios are too long. Anyone have any advice for a cost effective way to shorten the ratios, I am thinking the diff ratios are long

    Lind regards, Jack

Smaller wheels/tyres is probably the cheapest method to change your gearing, assuming you can do this and still fit your brakes. Not sure if this solution would be suitable for rally though.

Can get short ratio 02S from MK5 2.0l N/A’s or V5 bora and swap the internals into a 4 cylinder case
