Setting up Susp (height wise) TDi

I havent looked yet on the forum but thought ill put the question out there now.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to set up susp height wise for targa events.

I got a polo TDi 2008 with lightweight alloys with Hottuning Coilovers

    Thanks,

    Matty

    Polo Tdi ride height

    Hi,

Can't advise on ride heights for competition purposes, but my Polo is set to 105mm clearance, on Bilstein b14s. I'm very happy with it. The Bilsteins have only been in for about 1000 kms and I couldn't be happier with them.

For those that worry about the coilovers being too harsh, yes, you do feel every bump, particularly at low speed, but once you get some speed up, they are just sublime. We have a stock standard Jetta Tdi as the Family car, and I'd say that the Polo is only slightly (30%, hard to put a number on it) harsher than the Jetta, and definitely handles better. The Jetta has that stiff but plush feel, the Polo does not, except at speed.

Took the Polo for a 600 km in one day dash with all five family members in it and it did great! I was worried that the wife would find it uncomfortable, but we got back and she sorta shrugged and said it now seems to handle like she expectes a car to (:->).
