    At least if the tune is switchable using a dongle, such as the REVO SPS, you can take the dongle with you

    Or with APR - you lock it with the security PIN code (optional) and no one can ever get into it (or 10 to the power of 4 = 10,000) by the time they attempted that the car would be up for vintage rego! - and no excuse for forgeting your dongle device or losing it!

    How does one set the security pin?

    The 2nd hand pog i picked up had APR from dealer with no info, they guy i got it off had no idea it could be turned off. (I worked that out from website but didn't know u can set the pin)

    Its optional, but you can add it at any time on top of your software:

    I was at the VW dealer the other day which has a nissan dealership directly across from it. While I was waiting for VW to open, a Nissan mechanic comes out, starts up a maxima and revs the absolute crap out of it for 5 mins, turns it off and walks away.

    Dealers abuse the crap out of cars.
