    Servicing

Anyone know if in the instance that I take my new Volkswagen Polo to my own mechanic, the warranty will not be honoured?

Under no circumstances am I paying $375 for an oil and oil filter change.

You can take it to get an oil and oil filter change without voiding the warranty as long as the oil you use is the recommended type in the manual...

I hope my latest service is going to cost $375. lol

AFAIK you don't have to take your car to VW for a service to honour the warranty contract. It'll be in the contract you received with the car if you want to read it?

I'm surprised at the number of people who pay ridiculous prices for servicing at the dealer.

Read your warranty contract. or check with your dealer. I'm locked with a dealer thankst to an extened warranty contract, but if you're not shop around to other dealers that are out there who will charge less. Mine set me back 280 which included a new interior light + air con regas, along with the oil and filter.
