    Seat PD160 or aftermarket intakes

Any places that still sell them? Or any aftermarket brands that you guys recommend?

I only just bought a 9N3 and I'm finding all the places that used to stock the PD160 are sold out.

I've had the PD160 for about a year now, and will have the cone-in-a-box installed in a week's time.

I'll let you know how I find it

That would be awesome, I just ordered both from JabbaSport so I'm keen to know the results.

PD160 + paper filter (if you're pedantic about the longevity of your engine) + swiss cheese mod = happy days.

PD160 and Cone in a Box arrived from Jabbasport, installed it all shortly after.

Intake noise has risen considerably, can't say if it made any performance gains yet, haven't driven it too much after the install.

    Nope, not yet.

Gonna look for a dump, then exhaust then get an ECU flash.

Thats why you cant feel much difference.

The tuned torque curve is restricted by the air flow, so adding the PD160 makes the boost response more linear.

All good, you are setting the car up nicely for the tune.
