    SEAT Ibiza ?? Cupra Air Intake

    Read this on Clubgti.com. I hope im allowed to link the pics but is interesting. Anyone know where you could get one? This with a decent panel filter or even standard would be better.

    Would the intake make that much of a difference on a GTI considering the divert valve opens so early? I just wouldn't have thought it could do anything more as the turbo provides pretty constant air pressure past 2000rpm or so.

    DOnt know Ben, someone with more experience with VW's might no more. I always thought the more fresh air the better.

    well im no expert either,but turbos love air,and lots of cold air,the more you give it the better,and same with the exhaust.my brother inlaw added a cai with larger dump pipe and larger ic and he realised 30kw on his skyline.
    When I added my TIP I noticed a significant jump in power and smoother power through the revs.in other words making the air get easier into the turbo.so bigger air intake would make more power.

    Remember though that the K03 is only a small turbo - and there's only so much it can do without doing a K03 Sport or K04 turbo upgrade.
