Plus it has been done so you know it is doable.

Someone should do it to see how it goes in the Australian Climate.
im talking about the core from frozenboost.com its smaller, but i think it is much thicker (still front mounting though) its basically same specs as forge and apr units but it has different end tank designs (top to bottom).

    Do it!

Then write me a guide of how you made it all fit and I'll see if I want to copy

Please remember guys that the APR and the custom core Sharkie organised both require quite a bit of cutting from the front metal impact bar which inturn will weaken its structure.

Where as the Forge FMIC pack comes with a new reinforced bar included.

Maybe worth considering if there is only a couple of hundred dollars difference. And not to mention the OZ dollar is about 10cents stronger at the moment from when the last Forge group buy was organised.

for the seat IC you also do not need to cut in de metal bar at the front, only a bit of plastic, not much...

i can see about those dimensions if you guys want?

That is a HUGE cooler and honestly would only be required if you were running something like a GT3071R...

I've got the Forge kit with the standard turbo, and the top half (return of the turn flow design) is cool as cool can be...

The forge kit makes the car slightly laggier, and only offers a slight performance increase... honestly its mostly aesthetic that anything...

The forge kit would easily handle something bigger like a GT28RS.

    To be honest.
without the IC the turbo began at 2000rpm.
before that there was a litlle bit of turbolag, but not much.
    car could handle it.
now with seat IC on it, before 2000RPM it's a bit lazy and more laggy, but it still spools at 2000rpm and you hear the turbowistle more.
but i don't think it has more lag as before, it has been the same, only a bit stronger lag @ the same RPM's as before.
    but it's almost not noticeable.

Tomorrow i can tell you if he is faster in 0-60 or 1/4mile than before.
i think it's somehow the same because i don't feel any difference.
before i had the IC on it i expected it would be a bit slower and it would loose a bit Hp. but i don't think that's the case.
i do know that if i'm going to chiptune the polo it will become a lot better.
that's when the IC i going to show what it's worth

Lag = the time it takes to reach full boost for a given rpm, rather than the rpm at which the turbo becomes effective.
