Looking at the UK-Polo's forum, the Forge kit cost in excess of 400 pounds (response to Rosonic's question)

If this does not include the intercooler (well, even if it does), by the time both parts are landed, its just not cost effective (and likely overkill unless you're looking at something bigger than a K04 turbo upgrade).

He said it costed 395 euros - but only the pipes are in that Forge kit.

is total, pipes + intercooler was a bit les than 750€.
intercooler from forge cost me abot 1000€.
the intercooler from matorcade cost about 1100.

on a stock engine, it's a bit overkill maybe
i don't think he drives different or slower or more "laggy",
but once it's chipped it will make all the difference

Had a reply from Forge over night (must say I am supprised):

We do not have much information on this kit as it was conceived by the SEAT forum members who just bought our race part accessories . I have attached all the info I can find .

I have no fitting instruction nor any other advice , the cost is to you ( discounted as your are in Australia ) would be £ 200 GBP + potage

im thinking that kit might work for the other intercooler cores from frozenboost.

Its a bit hit and miss.

By the time you get it landed, it would probably be more expensive than locally made alternative...

Also, if its not quote right (no doubt it won't suit exactly) then it may need some serious customising.

im thinking what we need is dimensions for the SEAT intercooler to compare with the frozenboost one. i tried looking for a bit but i could not find anything.

price would be lower im thinking aswell and probably install could be DIY if people have a bit of car knowledge/know someone with some.

That does sound pretty awesome for a large core system.
Plus it has been done so you know it is doable.

Someone should do it to see how it goes in the Australian Climate.
