Seat covers ?

Anyone here tried to get some seat covers that fit the GTi seats and are also Side Airbag compatible ?

You mean the design of the cloth seats are hideous and not the feel of the seats . As much as I love my leather seats in winter, they are VERY uncomfortable after the car sits in the sun on a hot day. I've been taking a beach towel with me every where I go.

Not sure if VW do, but i know there are a few aftermarket ones that are specifically designed with this in mind. I was at Autoone on the weekend looking and there are a couple brands that make them. But none of the ones i looked at had the separate head piece, they were all one piece.

pretty dear but good sheepskin seats are pretty damn comfy. And i noticed there is pics in there somewhere re airbags. Ill post a trip report after i get mine done with some pics if you want
