yes... have read the posts... but not alot that the trip comp or other gauges will not give out. ( not trying to say its a waste of time etc... )

was there a specific reason you bought it? or just wanted to see what it was like?

It would be a no-brainer if only it picked up boost, AFR and some other temps such as oil, intake and exhaust

Primary driver for the purchase of my 2nd scangauge was ability to properly display KM/H whilst in tunnels (GPS units cover normal driving nicely, but don't work _under_ cover), due to the fact that the Polo's speedo is extremely piss poor - especially that of the resolution from 80kph and above.

The SG2 will render KPH from the ECU and it lets me do a % adjust on it. I've tuned it perfectly to the GPS speed, so I know exactly what speed I'm doing at all times.

I drive through heavily monitored 80kph tunnels every day, I don't want to a) cop a fine or b) drive way under the actual limit in quivering fear I'll get a $300 (or whatever it is) revenue collection notice in the mail.

I also like the fact that I can see fuel usage in litres, max rpm, kms travelled, max water temp for both current, today, yesterday and tank. Something to play with whilst waiting at the lights Very nice unit and well worth the $200.
