gonna be 10-16 degrees and 40% chance of a morning shower. On the escarpment that means could rain any time throughout the whole day hmmm

this will be more like how you'll experience it with all your chevy-ness. He gets a long way to the right and probably should have turned into the kink/fork from right out to the left, but he was sent there trying to just keep the thing on the road. Bumpy as hell hey and lots to hit which is why its so exhilarating - thus the girly happiness at the end. good vid though.

On a variety of engines we have found water temp around 85 degrees produces the most power, running on E85. That's of course provided the tune suites, ie; the temperature compensation table is zero at 85 degrees. The oil temp control is then engineered to give 100 to 105 degrees. We run thermo fans plus electric water & oil pumps to control the temperatures ie; no thermostats.
Huntley Hillclimb, that brings back some memories, it's probably 25 years since I last ran there and it was bumpy then.

Last time I was there, there were huge cracks in the road with clumps of grass growing out of them. Its pretty rustic. They've down graded to 10% chance of rain which I feel better about. I put the 215's on the front yesterday to give them a street scrub. Jeez 215 semi's are another level of noisy again!
Delightful, my car loves bumpy surfaces... Not.
Didn't know you were running a sports sedan Sam! Wollongong Sporting Car Club - The home of Huntley hillclimb
classic - yeah I've made a few more mods in my quest to finally get a win and it has a mid mount LSX in it now ha ha
I emailed Jo to let her know. Are you going to do practice on Saturday?
I'm aiming to, but it's been a hell of a week again. Taking tomorrow off, so hopefully everything goes smooth and I can be ready to leave on Sat morning early enough to get some practice runs in. Fingers crossed! You going to run on Saturday? Where are you staying?
was close to doing practice and then driving back to syd afterwards but wife going out Saturday lunch so I've got the kids. Ive been there twice before so missing practice not a big deal although I'd have liked to have tested the tyre setup i'll be on. Also it looks like the field is small and they are very efficient there plus the short runs so we may get 6 runs which gives you time to build into.
any VW peoples want to check out a Hillclimb its at Dapto on Sunday. wscc.org.au has the map
Yeh, it'll be a good 4.5hr+ trip for me. I'll head down on Saturday regardless, just depends what time I get away as to whether I'll get the chance to have a practice run or two. Fingers crossed. For Tamworth I fully intended to get there for practice, I gave up on that idea mid morning on the Saturday, ended up rolling into Tamworth at about 7:30 on Saturday evening. Didn't get to Canberra until after 8pm on the Sat either. I've not had a good record of being early and ready to go! Car is filthy at the moment too, has been my daily for the past few weeks and hasn't had a wash since Tamworth. I've put about 3000km on it in that time...
Interesting that Liam is not on the entry list, I was going to message him and ask if he was coming, but I seem to have lost his number when changing phones.
