Hi Sam, will 225/45/16's fit on your car? I have 2 or 3 x A050's in Medium that would be OK for a hillclimb or 2.
Cheers
Gary

hmm I know it'd be a good size to run and pretty common but I don't have 16's other than the really heavy stock rims. They will physically fit I think as I'm pretty sure Eddy ran that size.
I called Levens today to see if they had any 215/50/15 second hand mediums and he said try on Monday as he might have some in then. I'm also after a pair of 205/50/15 softs for the front but they are like hens teeth at the moment.

Hoyhoy.
Yeah I use 225/45/16's, but they are on 8"rims. Controlled size for some class so common in semi-slicks, but not so for streety's the last time I looked. I've lost a few on the track until I went with this combination.
Hooroo.
Hey Eddy - haven't seen you on here for a while. Yeah my 15's are only 7's as I run 195's and 205's. At 8 inch can you remember what offset the rims are? Did you have to run spacers??
Gary i'll have a quick look around at what rims are available in 16's. All comes down to cost so i'll see, but cheapest would still have to be sticking to 15's and just swapping tyres on and off depending what type of event I'm doing.
Hoyhoy.
Yeah I look every day, but don't say too much.
I tried to find some info on them from my Ozvolks threads, but couldn't find. The wheels are sitting on a rack above the Pog which doesn't move too often. So it'll take a bit to find out the off-set Sam. I didn't use spacers with them. They're Compomotive Wheels which are rather heavy & expensive, but strong & never had a problem since going with these.
Hooroo.
No worries re the offset Eddy. Was only if you knew it by heart. Had you rolled the guard lips to get them to fit or they went straight in without problem.
what the ? The TCR is getting a round in Oz!
