    Going to do the fuel filter, sai/n249 delete and general inspection this weekend.
    Didn't get around to doing the fuel filter last service so already have it kicking around. SAI/N249 delete gets rid of a heap of hoses whether they are contributing or not who knows. I've got the blanking plate and tune setup for it just been too lazy to do it.
    Also had a #yolo moment and ordered the ecs 2.0T coil pack conversion kit as well. Not sure if it's my issue but wanted to do this at some point anyway. Should be here in a couple of weeks.

    mines always had a funny idle too. rock solid and then will suddenly dip big time. Not in an A/C or ancillaries switching on kind of way - much worse than that. When I pull out my SAI pump I'm going to change the PCV valve and check all the hoses whilst I'm in there. They are a common culprit often apparently.

    My running temps the other day were a bit below normal as well.
    I am fairly sure at the moment my issue is one cylinder.

    did you check that cylinders injector seal?

    Mine did that too - it would also run rich as buggery for a few seconds afterward, as it was trying to correct itself. Could never, ever diagnose it. SAI and all that crap deleted, still did it. Changed MAFs, fuel pressure regs, plugs, all sorts. SO frustrating.

    I've also had issues with the idle being a bit off in the past also. Never really had any solid evidence pointing towards any one thing. Being that I have bigger injectors that could be part of it, and mines only ever when cold, once warmed up the bigger injectors idle perfectly. When I had stock injectors my idle was always pretty bang on.

    This is def not normal. Has gotten progressively worse, started out as an occasional stutter on warmup to happening all the time.
