    Going to try a gravity bleed. Only thing I haven't attempted. Will keep you posted.

    You most likely wasting your time. The pressure bleed is only the way to force the air out of the VAG ABS system.

    Yep, and even that can take a while.

    Also, did you scan the whole car for ABS-related fault codes? LIke I said ealier, it only needs to log a sporadic code in somewhere like the CANbus to throw a spanner in the works.

    Wouldn't running the ABS pump bleed that side of it? Well it's free and if it works I'll be about as suprised as I will be stoked.

    I wouldn't spend $2800 for the pressure bleeder if there was other reliable way of changing the brake fluid or bleeding the air out of the brake system. Yes, even changing the brake fluid you have to use the pressure.
