    Which Rim Colour?

I'm currently in the process of getting my BBS alloys stripped, and soon to be powdercoated. So I just wanted to create a poll on what people think would be the better colour choice. Choices are Satin Black; Alloy Silver; (Submit colour). Please post up other logical suggested colours - nothing in the likes of pink, etc; thanks.

Here is a photo of the vehicle photoshopped with the front rims in Satin Black and the rear rims in the Standard Silver. *Photoshop courtesy of Jon
*EDIT* Please consider the photo was taken late afternoon - so the Satin black will be brighter.

I'd go white, that black is WAY too dark. Dunno if the photoshop is just too dark or that's how they would actually turn out but they make them look like steel wheels cos you can't see them.

    Here's white:

I reckon Bright silver. black just makes it look dirty IMO. (could just be the chop too)

Gloss Black PK0080 would be my choise With some nice polished clearcoat on top as well. As long as the rims are clean you should be able to see the shape of the rim easily, although I'm not so sure about how easy that is to do a set of VR6 rims though.

The photo is taken late in the afternoon - so yeah - the black will be brighter.

Charcoal would look the best IMO. Would still be dark so contrast nicely against the cars white, but still be bright enough to see.

Maybe whip out a few cans of different colours and paint each of them to see what you like. If they are getting stripped down soon it wont matter really!

IMO biggest problem with black rims is you cant see the difference beween the rim and the tyre, makes it look like you have a generic steel balck spare rim. theis can be overcome with a polished lip tho.

i always prefer an alloy silver, but they are great at showing up all the brake dust.

Some charcoal rims look really good

charcoal vote here white will look silly on such a small rim and black will get lost also because the rim is small and silver just looks too standard? So an in between charcoal would work a treat!
