    RFID autoentry POLO GTI

    Hello All,

    http://www.advancedkeys.com/

found this and purchased one !!! and i'll put in push button start ! something all GTI's should have not just the POLOs.... it should be part of the breed.

It's basically RFID keyless entry, anyone know a good autoelect, to install in Ipswich (thats Australia not UK) ? or anyone confident in polo electronics to help me install !! I know i'm MAD !

    -Thanks

Theres also another one, which includes only 3 cable install that can be done by anybody and uses your existing vw remote(s).

a little easier/cleaner to install and easy to remove. also had perm obdii connector too instead of 3 wire install.

If you have Start button and proximity auto unlock, where is your security?

Don't know if RFID is meant for security applications.

noone the proximity unlock still requires a rfid card of some description, so its pretty secure but like I said I personally wouldnt trust the reliabilty.

Why do you want a FPV Polo GTi with start button?

Are they encrypted? RFID is pretty easy to pick up, I'd be worried anyone could duplicate your RFID and then your car is theirs.

No current link, its almost finished product. Awaiting on final details, ive seen it, it works and ill be using one in my own car prior to getting any in before to make sure its 100% fine.

Will work on all vag cars. your keyfob will have to be replaced (buttons only, not chip/nor blade) for this to work and it will still use all factory alarm specs without any dramas or hacking into any cables.

It will run off your keyfob, not a proxy card itself but work in the same way just within 2m instead.
