I think you'll find that the Polo is Throttle By Wire, and not cable.

That whole post was pretty out of the blue really...

    Just on the side;

    My car did 130fwkw with
APR tune (tuned before all the other mods)
    BMC filter
    Forge FMIC
    Forge DV
    SEAT intake
    Custom full exhaust with DP.

Not sure if I should get a retune of the chip if that does any good.

Thats an awful lot of power for stock turbo. If it sounds hard to believe, it probably is.

Not saying anything you've said is a lit Tass, more like the Dyno is reading a little happy that day....

What other mods where you running?

Dyno needs to be done on same day, same place, similar temp.

Can't really compare apple to oranges.

REVO 1 with SEAT intake only - at 20 degrees ambient temp. 16" stock wheels with stock tyres - did 127.4kw I think from my memory. This from a second run.

Now I have more mods in place, I should get it dynoed again at same place with same wheels ideally.

In comparison with VR6 supercharged - made 166kw at wheels that day.
    A4 1.8T MTM upgrade - did 108kw at wheels I believe - Quattro though.

    My peak PSI was 22.1.

I am hoping for 140kw on next run.
I think Stage 2 is a possible option for our GTIs.
    06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

Yes there is a stage 2 Revo option for our cars. I have been quoted with one earlier this year.

PM me if you wish to see the quote.

What was the quote? I asked my dealer, but he has been busy and has been delaying...

Do you get any subsidy for having REVO stage 1? I am ready to go to stage 2, have all the mods required for it, including fuel pressure regulator.

    Cheers!

The quote included the down pipe, hi flow cat, and the stage 2 software upgrade ($300) for $2029. Later on he said I could add the cat back exhaust for $1700.

If you already have most of that hardware then I say do it!

    Thanks Sid.

My agent is in Hong Kong, he will be back this weekend. I will get REVO Stage 2, if the price is right.

I have all pre-requisite for Stage 2 complete.
Downpipe 3" with bigger inlet for CAT. Did not want to go for Sportcat at this stage with minimal changes seen on Dynos on previous cars.
    4bar fuel pressure regulator
    Intake mods + K&N filter.
Optional lightened flywheel with racing clutch (ECS kit).

I think Stage 2 - was designed for approx 195kw at flywheel (including all mods).

For around 300-400NZD I am in.
If it's anything more than $500, I will really need to think about it to justify the price. It's quite fast as it is.

I need the exhaust / fuel regulator. Fuel regulator you can get one from ecs tuning from states for not much. I think I needed 2.5 or 3 bar or something in that line, can't quite recall.

Intake wise, I will just go with SEAT intake (with flap cut out).

I would be happy to get front mount, but at this stage, I will be happy with vent mod on the arch, and if I can get hold of the GTI grill that would be it. New Zealand ever really sees temperature of Australia.
I have heard the stock box fitted with an LSD can handle 370hp just fine, look at plutos car for example, hes got alot of power, but only upgraded the gears because of their large ratios.
